We are a small, vibrant group of local residents who want to help Ossu to grow and prosper in every way. We offer non-political support and friendship. This is an exciting and rewarding project where our efforts can really make a difference to the lives of Ossu villagers.

In 2006 we established friendship links with Ossu after Rosemary Bekker visited Ossu with Abel Gueterres - the Consul General of Timor-Leste. Then we negotiated with the District Administrator of Viqueque for a derelict house to be repaired by WFOO and used as a community centre for the programs initated by the local people. We are going to be helping the people of Ossu for at least the next 10 years.
Please click and watch the Willoughby Friends of Ossu video to see how we were established.
